Development of SOLAMO, the gas-fired hot water system utilizing solar heat

With the aim of realizing a low carbon society, Tokyo Gas is pursuing the integration of renewable energies and gas. Based on this theme, one of our endeavors has been with the development of SOLAMO, a solar hot water system. We view the compatibility of gas with solar heat to be optimal, as gas can offer an immediate back-up for insufficient heat, which can be affected by the weather. Solar heat can be used for floor heating as well as hot water systems.

Purpose

We aim to further expand the efficiency and usage of solar heat.
