FY2015 results Evaluation
Promotion of smart networks built around cogeneration systems
  • September: Developed a smart energy network in Block II in the northern district adjacent to Tamachi Station's east exit. Facilities including offices, shops, and hotels will be connected by a heat, electricity, and information network that has a second smart energy center at its hub.
  • October: Began work on the TGMM Shibaura Project, a development project in the Shibaura area adjacent to Tamachi Station's east exit being pursued jointly with Mitsui Fudosan Co., Ltd. and Mitsubishi Estate Co., Ltd.
  • March: Commenced involvement in the "Tsunashima Sustainable Smart Town" development project underway on the former site of a Panasonic factory in the Tsunashima-higashi district of Kohoku-ku in Yokohama.

  • May 2016: Tokyo Gas's Toyosu Smart Energy Center was completed. This will form the hub of a smart energy network under development in the Toyosu wharf district.
  • Various projects will be pursued in Tsunashima SST, including development of an energy center, with energy services scheduled to be phased in from December 2016.
  • Local branch offices and corporate museums in various locales will provide information on disaster preparedness through disaster prevention events.
